I think like a minimalist but design like a maximalist, which mostly means once I understand the rules, I’m already looking for ways to break them.

But three years designing at Mindset Health taught me that the small things can make the biggest impact. Choosing the right blue for a menopause app. An ad that lands between hope and relief for someone with IBS. Details you might not think twice about because it just, works.

As for my last name, Ōu 欧 became Owl after a misspelling. I didn't choose it. But I've spent a fair amount of time since earning it anyway: staying up too late melting glass over a lamp-work flame, staying up later to defend my title as back-to-back poker champion of my last office.
